SORRY SORRY SORRY!!!

So I went to my dashboard-thingy today to see if any blogs I'm following had any new posts, and I realized it's been just under a month since the last time I posted! I'm so sorry for the accidental hiatus!
I will try to do better in the future.

So, I recently got a monster high doll.  I've been wanting one for awhile, to customize, but I've been having so much fun with the doll I got that I dont really want to customize her, at least right now.  If I ever do customize her, I do know who she will be turned into. If I do, she will become Raven from Teen Titans.  Mostly because I got a Ghoulia Doll and have no way to paint the skin.

In a little more then a week, I will show you my school project. Not gonna show you any work in progresses though.

One thing that getting a monster high doll has done.  It has sparked another spur of Knitting.  I have been knitting costumes for her to wear.  So far, I have this really cool Purple Genie Costume, with those poofy pants that Jasmine likes to wear(I love those :3 ), And I'm working on a Legend of Zelda Link Costume, but altered a bit for a girl, so it's a Link-ette Costume.  I've got the tunic and am working on making a hat.  I'm having a lot of fun knitting small things, since they dont take as long to make as it would take to make a full size one.  Can you imagine how long it would take to make a Link Tunic?  Probably around the same as a sweater, since you wouldnt have to do the sleeves as long but the rest of it would have to be a bit longer then normal.  I really dont have the patience to knit a sweater, I can barely get through a scarf(Once . . .) so a sweater would be exhausting.

Vacation!

Later today, we will be going on a vacation! I will not be able to post for that time, as it is a road trip(not that I've been consistent with my posts anyway :P )
When I get back, I hope to have a lot of cool stuff to show you guys, and tell about.

Road Trip

Sorry for not posting, I just havent done much recently that I need to show you guys.  No new pictures or Models or anything.
My tablet has been acting weird, really slowly and I cant draw with that so now pictures like I said,
And I just dont really feel like working on the Pinkie Pie MMD Models.
The Twilight Sparkle models are done though, so that's nice.  I just need to actually get pictures of them and upload them.  I dont know when I'll do that though.  I wanted to release them all at the same time, but that seems kinda stupid to have them just sitting there in my folder.  So, I think I will release the Twilight Sparkle models when I find a 4 person Dance Motion that I like, because then I can give an accompanying video on YouTube.

Alright, other news :
I have actually learned how to make an oto.ini myself! I will not be doing Chiyone Maiko's, since Miramiee is already doing that, but I will be doing LS#1's Utau, who doesnt have a name yet(nor design), but she does have the voice fully recorded.  We just plowed right through it one night, where as it took weeks to record Maiko's.  I guess I'm just slower by myself.

Recently I have been in a huge Legend of Zelda mood.  I have been watching a lot of let's plays of some of the games, and it's been several days of watching them actually.  I have gotten a lot of progress on a scarf I was knitting.  It's not done yet;  I stopped because I wanted to knit something Zelda-themed.  So I have been making several goes at knitting some Triforce Fingerless Gloves.

Try #1 :
I cast on a lot of stitchs, around enough to fit my wrist.  Did some ribbing for a few rows and then stockinette stitch.  Did the Triangles and they turned out good.  The biggest problem was that I did not have a pattern, so my thumbhole sucked and the triforce wasnt in the middle of the back of the hand like I intended.  Try#1 = Fail

Try #2 :
This time I actually looked for a pattern.  Found a pretty good one, so I cast on!  Unfortunately, I noticed a few minutes late that "Whoops!" this pattern is in the round! Which means that me and my 2 needles wont work.  So I searched around for a pair of round needles, but no luck.  So I settled for some double pointed.  Well, see, this is my first time knitting in a round, so I did a bit of practice but got the hang of it really quick.  The rows went by fast, and suddenly I'm already putting in the triforce pattern, but earlier, I had noticed that it was getting very big, so I simply stopped the increases the pattern called for.  Now we are about current.  The whole thing is still way too big.  I probably will end up with a Try#3 later, but making it proportionally smaller all around.  Try#2 = Will probably fail


Next up on the block, we are planning a vacation in a little more then a week.  We are going to be going up to kentucky, then over to the beach, then Atlanta, and then home, perhaps with a few other places I forgot.  We've been planning this trip for awhile, so it's kinda weird to have it so close(And actually out of the planning stage).

And now for the final piece of news, I am going to be starting work on a big project.  I wont tell you now what it is, but there will be updates on that occasionally.

Happy 4th of July!

Happy Independence Day everybody!
I'm to tired to do anything because I had a lot of fun earlier.  We went to my great-grandmother's house and had a cookout.  It was exhausting, playing with younger kids.  Why do you get more tired as you get older? I'm only 15 and I couldn't keep up with 8 and 9 year olds.  Maybe I just need more practice running.  I bet I would be faster if I wasn't sitting around my computer all day.

Well, Early today I was planning on drawing a big really nice picture for you all to celebrate the 4th of July.  I'm going to have to make it tomorrow because I couldn't today.

There are apparently some problems on oto'ing my utau voicebank.  The really awesome Miriamee is having trouble because she cant hear the samples, and that makes it much easier.  If she cant hear them, she cant properly tell what area is what and all that.  Additionally, I made an English voicebank, and she is not used to the extra sounds(I put in a lot of them).

I cant think of anything else to say about today, or news for you guys.

M.A.I Con

(breath in . . .) SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

I was just checking on facebook, when I see a comment one of my friends has made.  They are asking if it's ok to go as someone not anime related to an anime con.  Nearby.  I'm pretty sure that if you were to look at me in that moment, I would simply be sitting there, stunned.
So I checked the facebook page.  In September, there is an Anime Con in Oxford,MS.  Mississippi Anime Invasion.  MAI Con.  I cant wait, and I really hope I can go! I need to save up and plan a costume! This is going to be so cool!  It's not even like we have to go far! Wah, this will be my first con! Who should I cosplay as?

As, you may be able to tell, I am excited.

As for other news, I have started on the Mane 6 Models! Twilight is done, for the most part.  Just keeping her to see if I spot any glitches.  I really want these models to be the best of the best I can do.
Next up I'm going to make Rarity.  I do not anticipate trying to find good enough hair.  It will be difficult, but probably not as difficult as Pinkie Pie.

Also, Chiyone Maiko is likely to be released soon!  I got someone online to make an oto file for me (Miramiee is awesome), and all I have to do in return is make a cover with her utau, a picture of her utau, or an MMD model of her utau.  Of course, I do video with my covers, with at least a picture to look at.  I have a bunch of songs in my music folder that I need to go ahead and make pictures for so I can post them.  So, I'm making an MMD Model to go with the cover, so that I can make a video to go with the song I chose.  Asane Hana's sounds really really nice with the one I picked.  Im not telling you guys what song it is though ;)  You'll have to wait and see!

Model Designs

No actual models here today, nope.  Just here to say that I have finished designing what I want the models of the mane 6 to actually look like.  And boy was it hard! I made way too much work for myself! I decided that I would do a normal outfit, an alternate outfit, because I wanted to do a wonderbolts Rainbow, and a Crystal Pony Dress outfit.  THAT'S 3 MODELS EACH FOR 6 CHARACTERS!!!  How STUPID am I?!! ARGH!!!

Well, I do really like them though, even if it was hard.  I don't know if I'll even be able to get the hair for them.  That's definitely the most difficult part.  How am I supposed to get all those fancy hair styles? What am I supposed to do for Pinkie's bouncy curls? What about Rainbow's swirly pigtails in her Crystal form? And don't forget freaking Rarity, with her HUGE EXAGERRATED Curl.
Ugh.

But, they are going to look nice.
All of the crystal versions have roman-ish looking knee length dresses with varied accessories and shoes.  The normal Outfits are something you might wear for a normal day, based around the personality of the pony.  The alternate outfits are random things I tossed together so I could keep Wonderbolt Rainbow, because my design looks freaking awesome.  Rarity has one of her outfits from the song "Becoming Popular", Then there's Pinkamena for Pinkie Pie.  AJ has a variation on her EQG design, because I could think of absolutely NOTHING else for her.  Fluttershy looks a bit more casual then the nice blouse and skirt her normal version has, while Twilight has a more schoolgirl uniform outfit.

My favorite of the Crystal Pony designs is probably Pinkie Pie.  I love the way I managed to get her hair.

Now, I'm sorry there aren't any pictures, but I drew them with pencil and paper instead of on the computer.  I don't have a scanner, so I cant show them to you guys.  You'll have to wait for the models to come.

Ach, cant believe I forgot.  Also in the packs(I'll be putting the packs by character) will be discorded versions.  They'll just be grayed versions of the main models though.

:P Didn't mean to go on hiatus!

Sorry! I think this has been the longest accidental hiatus yet!

But, I have a lot of news!
First up, VBS was this week, and we had a lot of fun at church.  I helped out in the crafts room, and it usually was hectic.  The theme this year was Colossal Coaster World.  I really liked some of the songs, and I tried to make an MMD video of the motions.  However, I flub motion making big time, so I'll ask one of you readers to do it for me, while I stick to making models for you guys.

I also finished recording my Utau, Chiyone Maiko!  I'm working on her costume design.  You might have seen the pictures from the previous post? It's going to be very different.  But I like this better then the previous 2 try's.  I'm working on getting her ready for release! I will show you all her videos when I'm done, but she's not perfect yet.  I can tell I accidentally did some syllables different from others, so I'm going to have to go through and find out which ones those are and fix them.

Let's see . . . anything else?

I am trying to save up a lot of money, but I need ways to get money.  Any suggestions?
Nobody seems to want commissions :(
I was thinking of making cute little clay statues and making them.  I'll post pictures of them when I make them, but this idea has just started.  It's a little baby!

Are there any other things that you readers would be interested in buying that I could make?
I am good at drawing pictures, knitting, crocheting, moderately okay at sculpture, I can make MMD Models but I cant sell those yet.  I'll be working on making a full model myself soon, but it's just an idea right now too.  I have a lot of ideas about what I could do to get money, but I'm not sure if any of them will work at all!

Picture Time!

So, I believe I told you all about how I'm re-recording my Utau.
If I haven't yet, I am.  I also have changed how I sound when I'm recording.  I was trying to change my voice a little, and now I'm not, so they sound very different.  So, I made a new Character for the voice.  Meet Chiyone Maiko :

This is just a start of what she'll look like.  There will be some costume changes in the future as I nail down what she's like, and get more of her voice recorded.  I know for one thing she is going to have a mic.  Anything else you guys think would make her more Utau-like?

Chiyone means Sound of a Thousand Sparkles, while Maiko means Dance Child.

 

I tried something new with her hair.  Do you think it looks good? I think I probably could have done the placement of the shadow parts better.  But it looks nice.  I was not expecting to make her blonde.  I was going to have a nice orange color as her hair, and I had decided on silver eyes.  Then I realized that would have been copying off of Orihime from Bleach, which I have had attentions on recently(Im not actually going to watch or read it.  Just reading fanfics.).  I think I already have enough of that by stealing Rukia's hair strand.  So I changed the hair to blonde, and then it was suggested to make her eyes green.  Ooh, Just got a design idea.  I'll have to put it in later.

 

In other news, I am making models.  Unfortunately, I am having a lot of trouble with a Model.  I was making an Ocarina of Time Link model for a contest.  It took forever to find good enough bangs;  I simply couldn't find a good hat and had to make do with making a point on a beret like hat; There aren't any shirts that are anything like what I needed so I had to steal the collars off of other shirts, and try to get them to fit; and then I had problems with the gloves; AND THEN my computer REBOOTED FOR NO REASON!!!!!  I LOST ALL OF THAT WORK!!!

So I'm not making the Link model anymore.  I don't care enough about it to continue :P

I'll think of a different character to make for the video game model contest.

Edit: Also, The manga Idea I was doing flopped.  Im now working on a different idea.  I need ideas for a villain though.  Any givers?

Im really kinda tired.  That's the reason I didn't full out line the pic and shade it.
I love copy/paste buttons.  They are heavenly to for getting long tedious stuff(I am not good at backgrounds, especially actual ground) out of the way faster.

Yeah, I mostly spent my day working on Chrysalis.  And depending on what the rest of my family does tomorrow, I will either play Mutants and Masterminds or make the next model on the list, Spike.  I took Photo Finish off the list because I don't really want to make her. So, oh well.
I don't think anybody cares enough about her to want a model of her.  I could be wrong, but they can either wait for me to run out of ponies I want to make models for or make their Photo Finish Model themselves.

I also check here, and I decided to go ahead and post since I had something to give you guys anyway.

Which one is your favorite? I think my favorite is Princess Cadence, I love her pink/purple skirt.
I also rendered a video of all three dancing.  I'll show you, but I completely forgot about it and I need to change it from avi to something I can upload easily.  I will upload it in this post, but it will be 15 minutes from writing this.  So when you get to the video, you will be able to tell I've been writing this for 15 minutes.
You might also get another MMD Model tomorrow, depending on my mood.  Queen Chrysalis is up next.  I think she is going to be very difficult, because I have no idea what she should wear or look like.  All the other ponies have been pretty easy, except for Luna, but that model is pretty old and there are much better parts I can use now.  Expect another Halloween/Nightmare Night Model pack of an updated Luna and Nightmare Moon, but Halloween is still a ways away.
Directly after Queen Chrysalis is Photo Finish, which is going to be interesting, because unlike the other ponies, she actually wears clothes and Im going to have to get at close as I can with the parts I can get at MMDMall.  I don't know how Im going to work in the leg holes.  Maybe rips in the pants or dress she wears? That might be good.

Oh!  I started over on making an Utau.  Melodia Sorane will never be finished sadly, but the one I am doing now sounds so much better!  I love the new headphones I got, they are really clear.  I hope my dad doesn't claim them :P
I don't have a design for the Utau Im working on now yet.  Im not going to use Melodia's, I don't really like that idea at all.  So, something new.  Ooh, I think red hair . . . and blue eyes! Yeah, ideas just arrived.  I'll work on them later, but right now, like I said, I am about to go to bed and don't have time to draw a big elaborate picture of my new Utau, or even a sketch.  I think I might go with a fairy theme.  She sounds great with what I have so far, but I've only recorded the base AIUEO, B's, Bw's, Br's, Bl's, By's, D's, Dy's, and Dr's.  I have to go through every letter of the alphabet, and then add *w's, *y's, *r's, *k's, and *l's,  Whatever fits.  Some letters don't have any extras to record after them(J, X,)  while some have all of them.  I try to make the list as extensive as I can.  Every sound I can think of.  Im trying to make a full, very good, English(ish) voicebank.  There are a lot of different sounds in English.  Not only do you have the base consonants and vowels, but you've got Ch's, Th's, Sh's, Sp's, and a whole host of other sounds.  It is a lot to record, and I hope I can finish it well enough that people like to use her for songs in any language she has the stuff for.  I will be putting out examples of what she sounds like when I have enough sounds for her to sing something small.  Like maybe just the Pappa para pappa para pappa para para pappa bit from Sweet Magic(one of my favorite songs).

New Picture

So, something that has been interesting me recently is Untooning.  You take a picture of a fictional character and use pictures of real people to make the characters look realistic, but still keeping their cartoony proportions.  I made one myself, what do you think?

Now, you may notice that the youtube link in my last post isn't working.  That is because I had to take down the video.  Stupid copyright stuff for no reason made it so that the video wasnt allowed.

For absolutely NO REASON.  I didn't do anything that needed it! I didn't steal the music, I made the picture myself, I said that the Character singing wasn't mine! ARGH! Whatever.

 

Also, Yesterday, Me and my mom went shopping at Best Buy.  I got a new 3DS Game,  Pokémon Mystery Dungeon : Gates to Infinity.  I actually have a lot of Pokemon games.  Emerald(missing), Platinum, HeartGold, Black,  FireRed(LS#2's), Ruby(LS#2's), Pokémon MD(Mystery Dungeon): Explorers of Time, Pokémon MD : Explorers of Sky, and now Pokémon MD : Gates to Infinity.

Also, We got a new set of headphones.  The ones I'm using only have sound out of one ear, and the mic doesn't work.  Since we got really really nice ones, my Dad gets to decide whether he wants to keep his really nice ones, or have the new ones, and I will get the pair he doesn't want.  I'm ok with either, but I really want the new ones.

 

I cant really think of anything else, so I'll stop here!

Apparently not anything actually past the sketch stage, and I don't want you to see my big rainbow sketches.  Its just easier to sketch when every layer is a different color.  That way, you can tell which parts are on what layer.  And that is much easier to do with bright colors, so I keep a rainbow handy to use.

Mother's Day and Clay

Happy (late) Mother's day!
We had a lot of fun celebrating it ourselves(yesterday, to avoid crowds).  We went to go see Ironman 3, and it was awesome.  Then we went to IHOP for dinner and had yummy pancakes :3 Yummy Yummy Yummy Yummy Yummy!

As for today, I mostly slept all day.  But my mom went to Hobby Lobby for something, and I asked her to get me some clay, so perhaps you will see some tiny little figurines and keychains up here for sale.  They are going to be so cute!  Do tell me if you want something!

I don't even remember why I picked SweetieBelle, she isn't really on my favorites list unless she is grouped together with the other CMC.  But here is a picture of her, all grown up with her cutie mark of shining magical golden music notes and sparkles.  What do you think?

Sorry I havent posted

Like the title says, Sorry I haven't posted in a few days.  This time it wasn't because I was lazy or anything.  My computer had a virus that locked it so I couldn't do anything but move the mouse, and my dad had to put some antivirus stuff on to fix it.

So, I haven't exactly been able to do anything that I usually do.  Mostly I turned to my common boredom repellent (especially when my computer is broken), Video Games.  Specifically, I played my 3DS the whole time.  Started a new game on an RPG I never finished, got pretty far on it, then switched to another one and just had a bit of fun grinding a lot, because the next thing to do was beat a boss I stopped at, and then there was a whole bunch of cutscenes and exposition.  I still have no idea what one of the characters is doing.  He betrays my character, stealing the macguffin, then turns around and gives them to the guy I was going to give them to? Is he a traitor or not?!  It's kinda confusing, and probably meant to be.  Im not going to spoil any more of the game, even if I haven't told you what game it is, so whatever.

After I got bored grinding, I got a chance to borrow someone else's computer.  I asked my family if they knew of any other cool Fantasy/Adventure/Lots-of-Magic tv shows or anime, since I ran out of slayers to watch.  I've ended up watching Merlin, and it's pretty cool.  I don't really have much to say about it except I like it.

I dont really think I did much today.
I cant even remember what I did at all very well.

It isnt really the best, but it is just a sketch that I colored real quick.

Im hoping to animate her, Although there might be a few changes to her design(spots all along the black edges, really?).  I dont have permission to use her yet though, so . . .

 

Um, Also today I spent hours straightening my sister's hair so I could play around with it.  My feet are still tired.  See, my Mom has a lot of hair, my Dad has a lot of hair.  Me, LS1, and LS2, all have a ton of hair.  And LS1's is pretty long too.  Also I had to do the hair in her front(she doesnt really have bangs, but they are.) several times because for some inexplicable reason, her "bangs" frizz.  A lot. And only her bangs. For no reason.  But her hair looks and feels very soft when it's straightened.

 

While I was straightening LS1's hair, we chatted a bit, and the topic turned to characters we want to cosplay someday.  My list is :

•  Princess Kraehe, from Princess Tutu
•  Princess Amelia, from Slayers
• Sailor Mercury, who also could be considered a princess, from Sailor Moon
• Miku Hatsune, a Vocaloid
• Rin Kagamine, a Vocaloid
• Teto Kasane, an Utau

And that's all I can think of.  I doubt You will ever see pictures of me cosplaying as them, but it would be nice.  Maybe I'll make costumes even if there is nowhere to go to in them, and just take a photoshoot.  The biggest reason I want to cosplay Amelia is so that I can shout speeches about Love & Justice.  I just wanna go into Troll Face just thinking about it XD.
I want to cosplay Kraehe because Rue is my favorite character from Princess Tutu, and if I dont do Kraehe Im doing her school unform or her ballerina dress.  Sailor Mercury, is not very high on my list of "NEED to Cosplay This", but I do kinda like her.  Miku, Rin, and Teto, I would rather do with friends then alone, and I might switch Rin to Neru, because Rin is better done with a Friend-who-is-a-boy who is willing to be Len, while Miku,Teto, and Neru make the Triple Baka Squad.

Ah, I remember what I did today.  I attempted to write a song. I then Failed at writing a song. I will probably end up trying again, but not right now.

I need to go write a bit more on LS1's story.  I've told anyone who reads this before how Im rewriting her crossover story.  Well, I decided Im not rewriting anymore until she writes more on what she has. She wrote more, so I have ot go write more.

Today I made a ust for a song.  One of my favorite songs actually.  Reach for the Stars, the Sonic Colors video game theme.  Kanochi Neko is singing it here, because she has a lot of sounds, and I like the way she sounds.  Her voice fits a lot of songs that I like.  Now, I kinda dislike her picture, because there are a lot of little mistakes that make it look weird(eyes are supposed to be lower!) and you can tell Im not the one who drew it because I typed that very easily (lol).  Im working on a picture of her myself, but A) It isnt done yet, and B) It's specially made for a different Video Game song entirely, so it's made to fit the story of that game.  Meaning she's wearing an Org. XIII cloak, not chasing after emeralds.  It would have taken too long to make a full new picture, and I probably wouldnt have liked it anyway, so I just grabbed the Full Body Pic from her Voice folder.  When I upload this on youtube I'll put a different picture, but for now . . .

I think the mixing might be off just a little bit, but I dont care right now.

Also, I am working on a Mermaid Animation.  Hopefully.  If I ever actually get it started.  It's going to take awhile to make, so Im not going to bore you with details until it's closer to done, which could take anywhere from soon to a year or something, or maybe it wont ever be finished because I'll get bored and leave it.  I dont know, but I'll try my best.

Yay new glasses! I dont have a camera ready so unfortuantely you cant see them.  But it's nice to be able to see and to have other pairs incase I break 1.  I happened to pick some of the cheapest frames simply because those were the ones I likes, so I was able to get 3 pairs and it was fine.  I've got a black pair with Bright Red on the inside.  Im not used to having such large lens, usually I get smaller then this.  I've also got a Purple-ish pair that is really close to my old ones. And lastly I got a Wire pair, Which is probably the pair Im going to wear the second most often.  It's very different, I dont usually get wire frames.  In fact, I think this might be the 2nd or 3rd pair in my time of needing glasses, having gotten 4-5-6 frames of plastic.  I cant remember why though.  The wire frame's color is actually close to my own skin, so it's very easy for them to kinda become slightly invisible if you're not paying attention.

Animation, Lions, and Slayers

Im rather upset that I finished watching slayers.  I think it might be because each season they save the world from something big, so saving the world from something big the last time just doesnt feel like it's the end.  Could anyone who reads this blog please give me the names of other anime I could watch?  Im kinda bored.

In other news, Let's see.
LS#1, the older of my younger sisters, watched a bit of slayers when I was going on a bit about how cool it was, and so she's writing a Fanfic about it.  It's also a crossover with Harry Potter.  She apparently noticed how similar Harry and someone from Slayers looked(not telling who, Guess!) and she stuck to that idea(no matter how disimilar they are personality-wise).  I am the one who takes her first draft, and edits them for grammar and to add in little touches that (hopefully) make the whole thing better.  Im doing way more then just spell-checking here though.

Also, I am attempting to animate a bit.  I have a small idea of something interesting.  I hope I can get it to be as nice as it is in my imagination.  It will probably be awhile before It is done, I just hope it looks good at all.  Im not the best animator ever, by a long shot.

Also, I will be getting some new glasses tommorrow! Yay, Clear vision again!

So, This is a sketch for a Character.  Maybe for the manga, Maybe for something else.  She's a celestial winged lioness turned into human form.  Im not sure whether she's cursed to stay in human form or if she can switch between the two forms herself yet.  She doesnt even have a name yet, actually.  You know, I wonder where she got that special(maybe magical) sword if otherwise she's wearing very simple clothes.  Perhaps she stole it?

Knitting

So, Today.

I mostly watched Slayers, but I did also knit a lot while watching.  I made a white scarf, and Im working on a doll sweater.  It's white with a pink stripe in the middle.
I also got some stuff recorded for Melodia, I think she might be about halfway done or so,  Around there.  I still need to finish the picture of her, I just keep putting it off though.  Im not in a Utau mood right now, Im fresh off of watching Slayers!  I might draw some fanart sometime.
Also, Valgaav is in the same category as Sasori and Gaara from Naruto.  It's the "IF YOU JUST COMFORTED THE KID THEN MAYBE HE WOULDNT HAVE TURNED INTO A CRAZY MANIAC!!!" category.

Sorry For Skipping

So, Sorry for forgetting to post yesterday, if anyone actually reads this blog.
But, I have good news(at least for me)! I had an eye appointment today, and in a little over a week I'll have new glasses! Yay! Clear vision at last!
Im curious how LS1(havent mentioned her before) and LS2 will react when they see them.  I picked out some very different frames then the ones I have now.

I cant really think of anything else to say, So I guess Bye for now!

I really need to finish it, but I just dont care as much anymore.  Maybe I'll use it someday in one of those "Draw something you drew years ago to compare them" meme thingys.  Fluttershy and Twilight are just to bland with the color choices I picked.  I should have done something other then purple for Pinkie, maybe green or something.  AppleJack and Rainbow I like here, But Rarity has too few colors and her outfit is to simple.  Cute as it is, Rarity is less practical and, If she was actually a Rogue, She would probably be more of a "Phantom Thief Dia" or something like that, with a fancy outfit that looks great, but hides her identity, and her sending warnings or something or secretly doing it all for good.  Im not sure whether I should have made them colored or more human, but I suppose if I was going to give them wings and horns, they would have to be colored.  Its annoying to me when someone draws them in human form, but they have colored horns.  Wings I'm ok with, probably because of the common occurence of such things, but the horns are weird.  Id rather have wings then a horn sticking out of my head, Even if it gave me incredible magical power.  Maybe I'd harness the natural magic of Pegasi and become the first Non-Unicorn Magician!  It's a very Sue-ish thought of me.  Well, Im going to end this before I get even farther from that Good Bye up there.

New Picture, New Model

Today, I mowed our lawn, drew a new picture, made my Derpy Model, and am about halfway done with the Rose Model.

I will not bore you with the gritty details of my 1 1/2  hours of mowing our really big yard.
It was exhausting though.

I am pretty proud of that dawn sky.  And the Eyes.  I really like that style of doing eyes.

I think I did the hair ok.  I wish I could have done it in a more detailed style but whenever I try that it doesnt end up looking right so I just erase it anyway.

 

Also today I startedfinished my Derpy Hooves MMD Model.

Im not sure about some bits of the design.  Is there too much gray? Should I have added another color so that its not just gray and yellow?  I like the stripes, but should I have used them for the socks too?  I suppose I should stop worrying about it.

On that Legend of Dragoon Rose Model, I've got the top just about done.  There is a small glitch where some bits of it wont follow the bone properly, and I cant figure out exactly which ones it is.  Also, whenever I add what I've chosen as the bottom of her armor/outfit thing, It always glitches up and looks like she fell is something super stretchy and sticky with it ending up all over, Mostly in between her arms and legs.  I hope I can figure out how to fix it.

 

Im pretty sure that's all.  We'll see how it goes tommorrow.

Melodia's Awful Demo, Shading, and Models

So, Today I have a Demo of Melodia for you!
It's not nearly completed, Im just happy that she can sing most of this song.  Of course, seeing as the song is made up mostly of what Ive happened to have already recorded . . .

 

What do you think? Does she sound okay from what you can hear?

 

I also made Shading Examples, To see which type I liked best.

The first one is my normal shading, with a try at a new kind of eye.  The second one I decided to not blur it like I usually do.  The eye is similar to the show eyes.  The third one I copied the second and blurred it, and the fourth, I added another level of shading, with a slightly darker color, and a touch of lighter bits.  I also copy/pasted the eye over.  I really like this eye.

I didnt come up with it myself, I used a tutorial written by D-shou on deviantart.

I just noticed that she doesnt have a cutiemark.  Oh well, she wasnt any specific character, I just picked colors that I dont use often.

I made this to see which way would be easiest and look the best.  Right now Im going with #4.

 

Next week, I will be working on Models more then Pictures, starting with Derpy Hooves, Then moving on to a request for a Legend of Dragoon Rose Model, which gives me an excuse to remake my Legend of Dragoon Meru Model.  So thats at least 3 models, Maybe more if I get those done and want to make more, but those mught take the whole week.

I started a new picture.  I do that sometimes.  I said I would work on writing something, but couldnt decide what to even start.  And right now, I am just very tired.

Where I am not allowed to go

I should not be allowed on TVTropes.  I literally spent almost all day, and Im going back because I havent finished reading all the trope pages for Doctor Who.  Im in the middle of reading the tropes used in "The Pandorica Opens".

In what little other news there is, I lost the picture of Melodia that I was working on.  See, I use Paint Tool SAI, But cant be bothered to buy it.  I just download the free trial, use it for that month, then keep using it after words, since all they do is take away the option to open or save a picture.  I can just print screen into a different program, and save it there.  Since I cant save my pictures, If my computer gets turned off when I am in the middle of one, I cant reclaim it at all.  Cue black out while Im sleeping, or at least that's what I assume.

So, if you watch Doctor Who, which Doctor is your favorite?  I think the 11th just barely comes ahead of the 10th for me.  I really like them both.

Swimming, Shopping, Drawing,

So . . . Today . . .
Today I was woken up in the early morning evil hours of the days known as before 7, because Little Sis #2 (Now known as LS2) was looking for her bathing suit.  Having woken me beyond the reach of dreams for good, I decided I might as well go swimming too.  My legs are still tired.
After coming home, I worked on a few pictures.  I want to get my picture of Melodia as good as I can get her.

Start up

I dont really know what to say here on the first post, so Im just going to describe a little bit about myself . . .

I'm a 15 year old artist with a bunch of hobbies.  I sew, knit, crochet, draw, and make MMD Models.
I am homeschooled, and hope to be a Manga Artist someday.  I am interested in UTAU and Vocaloid, And am working on recording my own UTAU, Melodia Sorane(More on her later).  I might post a few songs I cover with them, but I have no talent for writing songs, sadly.  I also am working on making a Fantasy/Adventure Manga with my best friend.  We really just started on it, and have a basic Idea of the first bits, but dont know where it will go from there.  We are trying to figure out who gets to draw it, since we are both artists and have very different art styles.
I also have made attempts to write in the past, and probably will in the future.  So in addition to pictures, music, and notices about the manga, you are also going to get my horrid attempts at writing a story.  But, Practice, Practice, Practice, So it may get better over time, or maybe it isnt actually that bad now and I just need to actually do it.
I also like video games and D&D.  The manga is loosely based around D&D in that I'm taking cues from the rulebooks for some things, like specifics on lichs(that all the sneak peeks your getting out of me!).

So I've covered a lot of things I like, so lets try to get some things I dont like on this post.
Hmmm . . . Weather.  I like sunny and rainy days, sure.  I just hate the cold(snow is the only redeeming factor of winter, and we dont get any) and I hate the heat.  I live in MS, where its not snow weather in winter, and can get to over 100 degrees in summer.  I like living here anyway though, even if the weather only meets my standards of nice a few weeks in spring and a few weeks in fall.  I generally do not like going outside if it is either of the 2 extremes, and that was a long and tedious rant about winter and summer for no reason.

To draw, I use a wacom bamboo capture tablet, and Paint Tool SAI.  My pictures look ok, in my opinion, I know there are worse, but I absolutely hate my shading.  It looks better with the shading, definately.  But I can never get it to look just right.  If I blur it to little it looks thick and unrealistic in every way.  If I blur it too much the shading either melts or makes it look like some sort of cylinder tube thing that resembles a head.  My attempts at doing hair in new ways always flop, so it ends up being solid and looking the same as every other thing in the picture, with a lighter patch of shiny, while I've attempted so many different ways of doing eyes that I cant remember any good ones.
I currently have several pictures in the works at the moment, Mostly of other people's characters so that I have something to put with a song on youtube.  I draw MLP FiM characters very well, I love the art style there and have come up with a style my own based off of it.

My UTAUloid, Melodia Sorane(last name may be subject to change), has curly silver white hair in a low ponytail, and blue eyes.  She wears a blue tank top, with a pouffy sleeved white jacket.  She has white pants with a cut from the knee down, showing an under legging of transparent light blue material.  She also wears headphones with wings attached to them, and has a belt.  On the belt there is a charm hanging off of a sky blue heart with a silver out line around it.  I only just started recording her voice, so it will be awhile before she is released, but she will definately sound good when she is.  Her voice will be kinda meduim high, but thats by my terms of what the voice sounds like, and so you may have no idea what I mean.

I make Models for MMD(MikuMikuDance).  Well, It's more I edit models, adding parts that other people made to a base body that someone else made.  I once attempted to make my own fully mine, but have since goven up for now.  I might try again later, but I have no idea when that might be.  I am a really good(if I do say so myself) Model Editor, and actually have people wanting me to make models!  I have a list of models that I am working on or am going to work on,  Right now it's mostly Humanized Pony Models(So far I have Vinyl Scratch, Octavia, Bonbon, and Lyra.  Next up is Derpy) and Models to Utau that I use often that dont have any models already out there.

Here are some pictures that I've drawn in the past :

This one is a MLP Version of Melodia.  Her Cutie mark is apparently obvious only to me, but hey, whatever.  It's a music note with the bottom turned into a half heart and the top turned into wings, then the whole thing is mirrored, and has a sparkle on top.

I really like drawing pegasus.  I dont know why, since I hate shading the feathers.

I drew this right after watching Wreck it Ralph.  Im not sure if you can tell that those colored sticks in the background are supposed to be sprinkles though.  I know they are, but Im the one who drew it.

 So, Here's my favorite Magical Ballerina, Princess Tutu! Someday, I want to cosplay as the villain Princess Kraehe, or maybe just as Rue.  But, that is in the future, and for now, I will simply admire how much I like her transparent pink under tutu.  Her costume just looks so soft!

 Now for this one, My best friend(The one Im doing the manga with.) had been drawing really awesome mermaid pictures and I kinda wanted to do one.  She drew hers based on types of fish, like a Koi Mermaid, a type of Shark Mermaid, and so on, and I wanted to do something different, so I drew Yin-Yang Mermaids.  This picture actually gives a good example of how awful my shading it, if you can spot it.  Im not going to ruin the picture for you though if you can't spot the big glare on the dark mermaid.  I am really proud of the hands here, though.  I am awful at hands, just like everybody else.
