Adventure!

So earlier I remembered something I used to do with LS#1, Me sitting on her shoulders.  We got pretty good before we grew enough that together it was hard to fit in the doorways, Able to do things like run(or at least walk really fast.), and kinda wobble-dance.  We can still do it, but we are bigger now and dont have enough room inside.  So I decided to see if she wanted to do it.  She said no, but I was determined, and instead convinced LS#2 to be the legs here.  She has had no practice whatsoever with this sort of thing.  So, we head to the best room to practice, the Parent's bedroom, as it has a large bed tall enough to be a good stool and if we fall we are likely to land on it.  So, I get on, and everything seems fine, then suddenly we are flying completely forward, with only enough reaction time to grab the nearby clothes rack before landing on the floor.  LS#1 came rushing to see if we were injured, while I decided to simply stay where I landed for a little while.  We were both fine, although my hand still hurts a little.

We managed to actually get it a few minutes later, and made it to the living room before I got down.
They like to describe me as a twig, so we decided not to go ahead and try her on my shoulders.

In other news, I am actually working on making a manga.  I'm writing out how it's going to go,  Haven't made the script yet though.  I don't even have full characters made, just placeholders like "The-Smart-One" and "Main-Char".  But it's going pretty well.  I decided to figure out exactly how I want to end it, And then ended up turning my work on that into a halfway point instead, so I now need to come up with a new ending.  And the big bad, need to come up with them and their goals too.

At least I kinda have the magic figured out!

Argh!!!

What the?! It's been almost a week since I last posted!
I did not mean to drop off again.  I'm Glad I caught it so soon.

This year, I shall only be spending money on 2 things.  MAICon when it comes in September, and my Costume for it.  I am saving up my money as much as I can, but those are high enough on my priority list.  I am going to be Jirachi, hopefully, and my sisters are going to be Shaymin and Manaphy.  Although LS#1 is thinking about whether or not to switch to Mew.  I hope to grab my best friend in as Victini or such, because it would be awesome!

I have recently discovered that I can pretty accurately replicate Pinkie Pie's voice, which is pretty cool.  I can get close to most of the others, except for Applejack.  Even though I live here, I have no idea how to do a correct southern accent.  I consider my best(excluding Pinkie) to be Rainbowdash, but I havent asked anyone else on this.

I recently watched Smile Precure.  I have no idea why I like precure stuff so much.  It's cheesy, occasionally dumb, and kinda repetitive but I just love it.  My favorite Precure series is Heartcatch, with Smile coming and beating Fresh for 2nd place.

Pranks

So, while I am not on the level of Fred & George, I do enjoy playing a prank on someone occasionally.  Last night, I pranked Little Sis#2 and Mom.  I switched their desktop background to a flipped version of it, inverted their whole desktop, and then went to bed.

I am now alerted to the fact that Mom has played around with the settings just as much as I have(A previous prank on me involved slowing down my cursor and adding a trail, but I knew how to fix that.) and it will be hard to find one that really gets her.  I did get LS#2 pretty good apparently.

Im evil enough to play pranks, but not evil enough to frame someone else.  I left a note telling them how to fix it afterwards.  Apparently, the note is what made it obvious that it was me and not LS#1, Her handwriting is pretty different from mine.  Lefty vs Righty, afterall.

Mom has informed me that sometime in the future, no idea when, she will get me back.  It will not be on April 1st, that's for other pranks.  But she will give me a retaliating prank.  I'm not really scared, it sounds fun.

In other news, it's already Febuary. And that really baffles me.  It feels like it should be 2 weeks into Jan, but nope, half a week into Feb.  I am going to slow down a bit on the model making, probably, as there are other projects that I kinda want to do right now.  I've got a huge list of models to make, and that makes it seem to me like I'm not allowed to do anything else when I've got a ton of people waiting for me to finish.  But right now I'm wanting to work on my Utau, and make some USTs for songs I like.  So I'm not going to be popping out models one after the other after the other.  I'm going to be releasing some other stuff too.  I think that's all I have to say.  Bye!

SORRY SORRY SORRY!!!

So I went to my dashboard-thingy today to see if any blogs I'm following had any new posts, and I realized it's been just under a month since the last time I posted! I'm so sorry for the accidental hiatus!
I will try to do better in the future.

So, I recently got a monster high doll.  I've been wanting one for awhile, to customize, but I've been having so much fun with the doll I got that I dont really want to customize her, at least right now.  If I ever do customize her, I do know who she will be turned into. If I do, she will become Raven from Teen Titans.  Mostly because I got a Ghoulia Doll and have no way to paint the skin.

In a little more then a week, I will show you my school project. Not gonna show you any work in progresses though.

One thing that getting a monster high doll has done.  It has sparked another spur of Knitting.  I have been knitting costumes for her to wear.  So far, I have this really cool Purple Genie Costume, with those poofy pants that Jasmine likes to wear(I love those :3 ), And I'm working on a Legend of Zelda Link Costume, but altered a bit for a girl, so it's a Link-ette Costume.  I've got the tunic and am working on making a hat.  I'm having a lot of fun knitting small things, since they dont take as long to make as it would take to make a full size one.  Can you imagine how long it would take to make a Link Tunic?  Probably around the same as a sweater, since you wouldnt have to do the sleeves as long but the rest of it would have to be a bit longer then normal.  I really dont have the patience to knit a sweater, I can barely get through a scarf(Once . . .) so a sweater would be exhausting.

Vacation!

Later today, we will be going on a vacation! I will not be able to post for that time, as it is a road trip(not that I've been consistent with my posts anyway :P )
When I get back, I hope to have a lot of cool stuff to show you guys, and tell about.

Road Trip

Sorry for not posting, I just havent done much recently that I need to show you guys.  No new pictures or Models or anything.
My tablet has been acting weird, really slowly and I cant draw with that so now pictures like I said,
And I just dont really feel like working on the Pinkie Pie MMD Models.
The Twilight Sparkle models are done though, so that's nice.  I just need to actually get pictures of them and upload them.  I dont know when I'll do that though.  I wanted to release them all at the same time, but that seems kinda stupid to have them just sitting there in my folder.  So, I think I will release the Twilight Sparkle models when I find a 4 person Dance Motion that I like, because then I can give an accompanying video on YouTube.

Alright, other news :
I have actually learned how to make an oto.ini myself! I will not be doing Chiyone Maiko's, since Miramiee is already doing that, but I will be doing LS#1's Utau, who doesnt have a name yet(nor design), but she does have the voice fully recorded.  We just plowed right through it one night, where as it took weeks to record Maiko's.  I guess I'm just slower by myself.

Recently I have been in a huge Legend of Zelda mood.  I have been watching a lot of let's plays of some of the games, and it's been several days of watching them actually.  I have gotten a lot of progress on a scarf I was knitting.  It's not done yet;  I stopped because I wanted to knit something Zelda-themed.  So I have been making several goes at knitting some Triforce Fingerless Gloves.

Try #1 :
I cast on a lot of stitchs, around enough to fit my wrist.  Did some ribbing for a few rows and then stockinette stitch.  Did the Triangles and they turned out good.  The biggest problem was that I did not have a pattern, so my thumbhole sucked and the triforce wasnt in the middle of the back of the hand like I intended.  Try#1 = Fail

Try #2 :
This time I actually looked for a pattern.  Found a pretty good one, so I cast on!  Unfortunately, I noticed a few minutes late that "Whoops!" this pattern is in the round! Which means that me and my 2 needles wont work.  So I searched around for a pair of round needles, but no luck.  So I settled for some double pointed.  Well, see, this is my first time knitting in a round, so I did a bit of practice but got the hang of it really quick.  The rows went by fast, and suddenly I'm already putting in the triforce pattern, but earlier, I had noticed that it was getting very big, so I simply stopped the increases the pattern called for.  Now we are about current.  The whole thing is still way too big.  I probably will end up with a Try#3 later, but making it proportionally smaller all around.  Try#2 = Will probably fail


Next up on the block, we are planning a vacation in a little more then a week.  We are going to be going up to kentucky, then over to the beach, then Atlanta, and then home, perhaps with a few other places I forgot.  We've been planning this trip for awhile, so it's kinda weird to have it so close(And actually out of the planning stage).

And now for the final piece of news, I am going to be starting work on a big project.  I wont tell you now what it is, but there will be updates on that occasionally.

Happy Independence Day everybody!
I'm to tired to do anything because I had a lot of fun earlier.  We went to my great-grandmother's house and had a cookout.  It was exhausting, playing with younger kids.  Why do you get more tired as you get older? I'm only 15 and I couldn't keep up with 8 and 9 year olds.  Maybe I just need more practice running.  I bet I would be faster if I wasn't sitting around my computer all day.

Well, Early today I was planning on drawing a big really nice picture for you all to celebrate the 4th of July.  I'm going to have to make it tomorrow because I couldn't today.

There are apparently some problems on oto'ing my utau voicebank.  The really awesome Miriamee is having trouble because she cant hear the samples, and that makes it much easier.  If she cant hear them, she cant properly tell what area is what and all that.  Additionally, I made an English voicebank, and she is not used to the extra sounds(I put in a lot of them).

I cant think of anything else to say about today, or news for you guys.

M.A.I Con

(breath in . . .) SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

I was just checking on facebook, when I see a comment one of my friends has made.  They are asking if it's ok to go as someone not anime related to an anime con.  Nearby.  I'm pretty sure that if you were to look at me in that moment, I would simply be sitting there, stunned.
So I checked the facebook page.  In September, there is an Anime Con in Oxford,MS.  Mississippi Anime Invasion.  MAI Con.  I cant wait, and I really hope I can go! I need to save up and plan a costume! This is going to be so cool!  It's not even like we have to go far! Wah, this will be my first con! Who should I cosplay as?

As, you may be able to tell, I am excited.

As for other news, I have started on the Mane 6 Models! Twilight is done, for the most part.  Just keeping her to see if I spot any glitches.  I really want these models to be the best of the best I can do.
Next up I'm going to make Rarity.  I do not anticipate trying to find good enough hair.  It will be difficult, but probably not as difficult as Pinkie Pie.

Also, Chiyone Maiko is likely to be released soon!  I got someone online to make an oto file for me (Miramiee is awesome), and all I have to do in return is make a cover with her utau, a picture of her utau, or an MMD model of her utau.  Of course, I do video with my covers, with at least a picture to look at.  I have a bunch of songs in my music folder that I need to go ahead and make pictures for so I can post them.  So, I'm making an MMD Model to go with the cover, so that I can make a video to go with the song I chose.  Asane Hana's sounds really really nice with the one I picked.  Im not telling you guys what song it is though ;)  You'll have to wait and see!

Model Designs

No actual models here today, nope.  Just here to say that I have finished designing what I want the models of the mane 6 to actually look like.  And boy was it hard! I made way too much work for myself! I decided that I would do a normal outfit, an alternate outfit, because I wanted to do a wonderbolts Rainbow, and a Crystal Pony Dress outfit.  THAT'S 3 MODELS EACH FOR 6 CHARACTERS!!!  How STUPID am I?!! ARGH!!!

Well, I do really like them though, even if it was hard.  I don't know if I'll even be able to get the hair for them.  That's definitely the most difficult part.  How am I supposed to get all those fancy hair styles? What am I supposed to do for Pinkie's bouncy curls? What about Rainbow's swirly pigtails in her Crystal form? And don't forget freaking Rarity, with her HUGE EXAGERRATED Curl.
Ugh.

But, they are going to look nice.
All of the crystal versions have roman-ish looking knee length dresses with varied accessories and shoes.  The normal Outfits are something you might wear for a normal day, based around the personality of the pony.  The alternate outfits are random things I tossed together so I could keep Wonderbolt Rainbow, because my design looks freaking awesome.  Rarity has one of her outfits from the song "Becoming Popular", Then there's Pinkamena for Pinkie Pie.  AJ has a variation on her EQG design, because I could think of absolutely NOTHING else for her.  Fluttershy looks a bit more casual then the nice blouse and skirt her normal version has, while Twilight has a more schoolgirl uniform outfit.

My favorite of the Crystal Pony designs is probably Pinkie Pie.  I love the way I managed to get her hair.

Now, I'm sorry there aren't any pictures, but I drew them with pencil and paper instead of on the computer.  I don't have a scanner, so I cant show them to you guys.  You'll have to wait for the models to come.

Ach, cant believe I forgot.  Also in the packs(I'll be putting the packs by character) will be discorded versions.  They'll just be grayed versions of the main models though.

:P Didn't mean to go on hiatus!

Sorry! I think this has been the longest accidental hiatus yet!

But, I have a lot of news!
First up, VBS was this week, and we had a lot of fun at church.  I helped out in the crafts room, and it usually was hectic.  The theme this year was Colossal Coaster World.  I really liked some of the songs, and I tried to make an MMD video of the motions.  However, I flub motion making big time, so I'll ask one of you readers to do it for me, while I stick to making models for you guys.

I also finished recording my Utau, Chiyone Maiko!  I'm working on her costume design.  You might have seen the pictures from the previous post? It's going to be very different.  But I like this better then the previous 2 try's.  I'm working on getting her ready for release! I will show you all her videos when I'm done, but she's not perfect yet.  I can tell I accidentally did some syllables different from others, so I'm going to have to go through and find out which ones those are and fix them.

Let's see . . . anything else?

I am trying to save up a lot of money, but I need ways to get money.  Any suggestions?
Nobody seems to want commissions :(
I was thinking of making cute little clay statues and making them.  I'll post pictures of them when I make them, but this idea has just started.  It's a little baby!

Are there any other things that you readers would be interested in buying that I could make?
I am good at drawing pictures, knitting, crocheting, moderately okay at sculpture, I can make MMD Models but I cant sell those yet.  I'll be working on making a full model myself soon, but it's just an idea right now too.  I have a lot of ideas about what I could do to get money, but I'm not sure if any of them will work at all!

Picture Time!

So, I believe I told you all about how I'm re-recording my Utau.
If I haven't yet, I am.  I also have changed how I sound when I'm recording.  I was trying to change my voice a little, and now I'm not, so they sound very different.  So, I made a new Character for the voice.  Meet Chiyone Maiko :

This is just a start of what she'll look like.  There will be some costume changes in the future as I nail down what she's like, and get more of her voice recorded.  I know for one thing she is going to have a mic.  Anything else you guys think would make her more Utau-like?

Chiyone means Sound of a Thousand Sparkles, while Maiko means Dance Child.

 

I tried something new with her hair.  Do you think it looks good? I think I probably could have done the placement of the shadow parts better.  But it looks nice.  I was not expecting to make her blonde.  I was going to have a nice orange color as her hair, and I had decided on silver eyes.  Then I realized that would have been copying off of Orihime from Bleach, which I have had attentions on recently(Im not actually going to watch or read it.  Just reading fanfics.).  I think I already have enough of that by stealing Rukia's hair strand.  So I changed the hair to blonde, and then it was suggested to make her eyes green.  Ooh, Just got a design idea.  I'll have to put it in later.

 

In other news, I am making models.  Unfortunately, I am having a lot of trouble with a Model.  I was making an Ocarina of Time Link model for a contest.  It took forever to find good enough bangs;  I simply couldn't find a good hat and had to make do with making a point on a beret like hat; There aren't any shirts that are anything like what I needed so I had to steal the collars off of other shirts, and try to get them to fit; and then I had problems with the gloves; AND THEN my computer REBOOTED FOR NO REASON!!!!!  I LOST ALL OF THAT WORK!!!

So I'm not making the Link model anymore.  I don't care enough about it to continue :P

I'll think of a different character to make for the video game model contest.

I'll probably release the Mane 6 in a pack rather then separately.  I wonder if I should have put some stripes on the light green vest?

Edit: Also, The manga Idea I was doing flopped.  Im now working on a different idea.  I need ideas for a villain though.  Any givers?

Quick Sketch

I made a new sketch.  I was bored.  This probably took around 10 minutes to do.
Im really kinda tired.  That's the reason I didn't full out line the pic and shade it.
I love copy/paste buttons.  They are heavenly to for getting long tedious stuff(I am not good at backgrounds, especially actual ground) out of the way faster.
You know, before I colored her in, Bonbon looked more like a cat then a pony.

Yeah, I mostly spent my day working on Chrysalis.  And depending on what the rest of my family does tomorrow, I will either play Mutants and Masterminds or make the next model on the list, Spike.  I took Photo Finish off the list because I don't really want to make her. So, oh well.
I don't think anybody cares enough about her to want a model of her.  I could be wrong, but they can either wait for me to run out of ponies I want to make models for or make their Photo Finish Model themselves.

I also check here, and I decided to go ahead and post since I had something to give you guys anyway.

Which one is your favorite? I think my favorite is Princess Cadence, I love her pink/purple skirt.
I also rendered a video of all three dancing.  I'll show you, but I completely forgot about it and I need to change it from avi to something I can upload easily.  I will upload it in this post, but it will be 15 minutes from writing this.  So when you get to the video, you will be able to tell I've been writing this for 15 minutes.
You might also get another MMD Model tomorrow, depending on my mood.  Queen Chrysalis is up next.  I think she is going to be very difficult, because I have no idea what she should wear or look like.  All the other ponies have been pretty easy, except for Luna, but that model is pretty old and there are much better parts I can use now.  Expect another Halloween/Nightmare Night Model pack of an updated Luna and Nightmare Moon, but Halloween is still a ways away.
Directly after Queen Chrysalis is Photo Finish, which is going to be interesting, because unlike the other ponies, she actually wears clothes and Im going to have to get at close as I can with the parts I can get at MMDMall.  I don't know how Im going to work in the leg holes.  Maybe rips in the pants or dress she wears? That might be good.

Let's see, other news . . .
Oh!  I started over on making an Utau.  Melodia Sorane will never be finished sadly, but the one I am doing now sounds so much better!  I love the new headphones I got, they are really clear.  I hope my dad doesn't claim them :P
I don't have a design for the Utau Im working on now yet.  Im not going to use Melodia's, I don't really like that idea at all.  So, something new.  Ooh, I think red hair . . . and blue eyes! Yeah, ideas just arrived.  I'll work on them later, but right now, like I said, I am about to go to bed and don't have time to draw a big elaborate picture of my new Utau, or even a sketch.  I think I might go with a fairy theme.  She sounds great with what I have so far, but I've only recorded the base AIUEO, B's, Bw's, Br's, Bl's, By's, D's, Dy's, and Dr's.  I have to go through every letter of the alphabet, and then add *w's, *y's, *r's, *k's, and *l's,  Whatever fits.  Some letters don't have any extras to record after them(J, X,)  while some have all of them.  I try to make the list as extensive as I can.  Every sound I can think of.  Im trying to make a full, very good, English(ish) voicebank.  There are a lot of different sounds in English.  Not only do you have the base consonants and vowels, but you've got Ch's, Th's, Sh's, Sp's, and a whole host of other sounds.  It is a lot to record, and I hope I can finish it well enough that people like to use her for songs in any language she has the stuff for.  I will be putting out examples of what she sounds like when I have enough sounds for her to sing something small.  Like maybe just the Pappa para pappa para pappa para para pappa bit from Sweet Magic(one of my favorite songs).

New Picture

So, something that has been interesting me recently is Untooning.  You take a picture of a fictional character and use pictures of real people to make the characters look realistic, but still keeping their cartoony proportions.  I made one myself, what do you think?

Now, you may notice that the youtube link in my last post isn't working.  That is because I had to take down the video.  Stupid copyright stuff for no reason made it so that the video wasnt allowed.

For absolutely NO REASON.  I didn't do anything that needed it! I didn't steal the music, I made the picture myself, I said that the Character singing wasn't mine! ARGH! Whatever.

 

Also, Yesterday, Me and my mom went shopping at Best Buy.  I got a new 3DS Game,  Pokémon Mystery Dungeon : Gates to Infinity.  I actually have a lot of Pokemon games.  Emerald(missing), Platinum, HeartGold, Black,  FireRed(LS#2's), Ruby(LS#2's), Pokémon MD(Mystery Dungeon): Explorers of Time, Pokémon MD : Explorers of Sky, and now Pokémon MD : Gates to Infinity.

Also, We got a new set of headphones.  The ones I'm using only have sound out of one ear, and the mic doesn't work.  Since we got really really nice ones, my Dad gets to decide whether he wants to keep his really nice ones, or have the new ones, and I will get the pair he doesn't want.  I'm ok with either, but I really want the new ones.

 

I cant really think of anything else, so I'll stop here!

Apparently not anything actually past the sketch stage, and I don't want you to see my big rainbow sketches.  Its just easier to sketch when every layer is a different color.  That way, you can tell which parts are on what layer.  And that is much easier to do with bright colors, so I keep a rainbow handy to use.
